Brainstorm before you Go Shopping. ask your kids what they would like to be for Halloween. Usually kids are brimming with ideas, but if they don’t know give them a head start.

1. Favorite Fictional Characters

Run through your child’s favorite fictional characters: cartoon characters, historical figures, and even their own made up characters.

You might not be able to find a costume in a shop for the character that they picked. Don’t let that stop you, there are plenty of ways to get your child into that character’s shoes.

If fictional characters aren’t enough, consider their favorite superheroes. from Batman to wonder woman, and Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Teresa. allow their imaginations to run wild.

3. Career They Aspire To

Sometimes it can be fun to dress up close to the career that you would like to pursue. Kids love doing this! let their fantasies run while as they dress up as firemen, ballerinas, policemen, nurses, and even astronauts.

Go Shopping with Them

Whether brainstorming went well or not, you might want to go shopping to get more ideas. Around Halloween, stores are usually packed Halloween question ideas and props.

Let Them Point It out. if your children are naturally drawn to a Halloween costume, and maybe that’s the one for them. However, they might still want to dress up like the character or idea that you came up before you went shopping.

If you can’t find cost you your looking for, don’t despair. On the other hand, if finding a ready-made costume have given your children new motivation, then let them change their mind.

But, Go Home and Sleep on It. now whether you’ve decided to make a purchase or not, you should give yourself and your children time to think it through. Remember, your Halloween costume will be remembered for years to come. it will be seen in scrapbooks, and pictures.

So don’t let the impulse grab you, go home and sleep on it. your children might not like it, but they will thank you once they realize that having time to think about their Halloween costume will give them a better idea of what they really want.
